We spent two amazing days in the capital of Slovenia – Ljubljana. Declared the European Green Capital in 2016 and now the Capital of Culture, the city feels like a treasure taken straight out of a magical world.

The entire city is covered in greenery from top to bottom. From the little garden at our hostel to the narrow streets in the city center, we were constantly immersed in the city’s cleanliness and freshness.
Beyond all the greenery, we also noticed that public transport is preferred over cars – there’s even a green electric train that travels throughout the city. Another interesting detail is that the few people we did see driving were all behind the wheel of electric vehicles.

Ljubljana brings you close to nature while still offering all the comforts of a big city. That’s Ljubljana!
I would gladly return again!
