Good practices, we saw in Ljubljana as a green capital

During my visit to Ljubljana, I noticed many good practices that show why the city was named the Green Capital of Europe. One of the first things that impressed me was how green everything is — there are many trees, parks, and flower alleys, even in the very center of the city. The city looks clean, well-maintained, and calm, and nature is an inseparable part of people’s everyday lives.

Another good practice is the way Ljubljana encourages ecological transportation. Most people use bicycles, and there are convenient bike lanes and parking spaces everywhere. The city center is almost entirely pedestrian, which makes the atmosphere pleasant and safe for both locals and tourists.

I also noticed that the city strives to reduce pollution and preserve its natural resources. There are many containers for waste separation, and many people act responsibly toward the environment.
