A Walk Through Sofia and Exploring Erasmus+: Unforgettable moments and new discoveries!

Hello, friends!
We’re excited to share the emotions from our latest exciting tour around Sofia! The city welcomed us with energy and beauty, and we immersed ourselves in the atmosphere of the central area, determined to discover not only the iconic landmarks but also some brand-new spots and hidden corners. Every street and every turn revealed new sights and stories that made our walk a true adventure.

The highlight of our walk was reaching the building of the European Commission in Bulgaria. It turned out to be the perfect place for our next mission: to find out how familiar people are with European programs.

Armed with microphones and lots of enthusiasm, we conducted interviews with people on the streets of Sofia. Our goal was to learn:
● How many people know about the Erasmus program?
● Have they ever participated in such a project, or would they like to in the future?
● Have they heard about the DiscoverEU program – the initiative that gives young Europeans the chance to travel across Europe by train?

The results were truly interesting and diverse! We found that, although the Erasmus program is fairly well-known, there are still many people who are not familiar with all of its opportunities for studying, internships, and youth exchanges. On the other hand, we met enthusiastic participants whose stories about their experiences abroad were incredibly inspiring! DiscoverEU turned out to be less known, which gives us even more reason to write and talk about it!

This whole walk and research were filled with positive emotions and created unforgettable moments for us. Meeting smiling, kind, and curious people, and feeling that we’re helping to spread the word about such amazing European opportunities, filled us with energy!

Stay tuned for videos and a more detailed analysis of the interview results!
And you – would you take part in an Erasmus or DiscoverEU project? Share your thoughts in the comments!
