Today was our first workshop “Martenitsa with a Cause” at Ivan Vazov Primary School in Ruse! The atmosphere during our workshop was truly heartwarming, as children and volunteers alike came together with enthusiasm and a shared sense of purpose. From selecting vibrant threads in red and white to carefully crafting each Martenitsa, every moment was filled with dedication and passion.
We thank the school for warmly accepting the idea of joining forces to help a child in need. Special thanks to our little helpers who filled our day with smiles, creativity and joy. As we worked side by side, stories were shared, friendships blossomed, and a sense of community flourished. It was a beautiful reminder of the power we possess when we unite for a common cause – the ability to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
We also thank our heartfelt volunteers who organized the campaign and joined from day one!
