We are starting the initiative ‘Martenitsa with a Cause’ with a heartfelt plea to all of you! Over the next few weeks, we will be creating unique Martenitsa with love for 6-year-old Ivan Vasiliev Ivanov from the village of Ivanovo, Ruse.
Ivan has a severe form of autism and spastic diplegia. His parents are struggling to raise funds for an operation in Turkey that could change his life.
Our goal is to make Martenitsa and offer them at a Charity Bazaar. The money we raise will be donated to Ivan’s parents to help them.
The workshops will start from next week and will be held at “Ivan Vazov” Primary School, which kindly opens its doors for our cause, completely free of charge.
We kindly ask everyone who wants to participate to mark the days from February 6th to February 9th and a convenient time for them. This schedule will help us organize and make our meetings more productive.
If you cannot attend in person but still want to help, you can make Martenitsa at home and send them in. Every participation and donation is valuable!
