ESC Volunteers Lead Sustainability Workshop in Ruse

In an effort to inspire positive environmental action and raise awareness about sustainability, a dynamic workshop was recently organized in Ruse. Led by our enthusiastic ESC volunteers part of ‘Volunteering Teams for Good’, the event aimed to engage young people in discussions on sustainable living, responsible food choices, and ways to reduce food waste.

Key Workshop Themes:

Sustainable Living: ESC volunteers presented the principles of sustainable living, emphasizing the importance of making mindful choices in daily life to reduce environmental impact. Topics included eco-friendly practices, resource conservation, and the benefits of embracing a sustainable lifestyle.

Food Waste Awareness: The workshop delved into the significant issue of food waste and its environmental consequences. Participants learned about the impact of discarded food on the planet and explored practical strategies to minimize waste in their own lives.
