Colorful Creations: A Journey from Istanbul to Our Little Artists

Today, 12th April 2022, our young friends from Kindergarten “Zornitsa” in the village of Oresh enjoyed an engaging activity inspired by what their amazing teacher Aleksandra Aleksandrova learned during the Adult Education program in Istanbul, held from February 1st to February 10th, 2022.

The little artists enjoyed making colorful prints on paper, using traditional craft method which is well-known and still used in Turkiye to create beautiful scarves. This artistic tradition, deeply rooted in Turkish culture for centuries, proved to be an exciting way to introduce new activity and culture to the youngest children.

The young artists had a blast, and their artworks blossomed into colors, radiating the joy of spring. The activity not only brought smiles to their faces but also connected them with a cultural practice from another country.

This experience demonstrates how knowledge gained during international projects can be translated into engaging and enjoyable activities for our youngest learners. It’s a testament to the universality of creativity and the joy it brings, transcending borders and generations.
